WHERE IS YOUR OFFICE LOCATED?
We are located in the Eagle Rock neighborhood of Los Angeles at 2478 Colorado Blvd. It is a quick drive from many other neighborhoods, including Highland Park, Glassell Park, Atwater Village, Los Feliz, Silver Lake, Echo Park, and the cities of Glendale and Pasadena. It is easily accessible from Interstate 134, Interstate 5, and the Glendale Fwy (The 2), as well as by public transportation. Some of our team also work out of an office in Echo Park on Sunset Boulevard.
DO YOU ACCEPT INSURANCE?
We do not currently accept insurance, but you may be able to receive reimbursement if your insurance allows you to see out-of-network providers. If you would like to use your insurance to pay for part of your therapy sessions, please contact your provider before our first session. The phone number should be on the back of your card under “behavioral health” or “mental health.” If neither of these categories is listed, call the number for member customer service and ask to speak to someone about your outpatient mental health benefits. WHAT IS THE LENGTH AND FREQUENCY OF SESSIONS?
Standard psychotherapy sessions are 50 minutes and take place weekly. Some clinicians offer 60 - 90 minute sessions for couples and families. With new clients, sessions are generally scheduled weekly. With any less frequency, it can be difficult to build momentum towards meeting your goals while we’re still in the process of getting to know each other. Some clients find that once they’ve reached their primary goals in therapy, they only need to come every other week.
WHAT ARE YOUR FEES? DO YOU ACCEPT SLIDING SCALE CLIENTS?
Sessions range from $150 to $300 depending on the clinician and type of service. Clinicians reserve a limited number of spots for clients in financial need. First sessions are typically full fee and subsequent session fees may be negotiated. Any questions about finances can be answered during your free consultation.
We will soon begin offering low-fee services with a practicum student who is supervised by both our licensed and post-doctoral level clinicians. You can add yourself to the waitlist here and we will reach out to you to discuss further.
WHERE DO I PARK?
There is limited free parking along the south side of Colorado Boulevard, directly in front of the office. Parking to the West has a one hour limit. There is also additional parking in the neighborhood along College View Avenue to the north of Colorado.
For out Sunset office, there is metered parking right out front of the office and along Sunset Blvd, as well as street parking on the neighboring residential streets. There is also a LA City lot behind the building on the Southwest side of the intersection of Sunset Blvd and Echo Park Lake.
